MARCH GUILD MEETING - Freeform Crochet - Saturday 20th March

 FREEFORM CROCHET WITH ABBY     The March guild meeting will be on Saturday 20th on Free Form Crochet and it will be led by Abby Wrycroft. So come along and see what we are doing and maybe even find a crochet hook and join in. What you will need for the event. You will want to have crochet hooks and various types of yarn, thick and thin but it doesn't matter what weight.  Heavier yarns might show the effects more than lighter weights. It might be easier to see on the screen while zooming though. What you may want to do before the event. If you have never done crochet before you can get some practice with the basics before the meeting so you can join in.  Look at https://www.learn2knit.co.uk/crochet/basic-stitches.php. TEAM OVER THE RAINBOW - BRITSPIN 14TH - 18TH OCTOBER 2020

  TEAM OVER THE R A I N B O W BRITSPIN 2020 This year's team from the Guild are preparing to enter this competition next Wednesday at 9 pm.  The challenge is to combine spinning as great a length of fibre in the 4 days of the competition, with other challenges, such as the great number of different breed fleeces and Britspin Bingo! (more to follow next week on that one).   Generously sponsored again this year by the WOOL WAREHOUSE in leamington, the team will be spinning from 9 pm on 14th - 9 pm on 18th October, with donated fibre and all the fibre dug out from their stash!  Visit their site by clicking on the logo above.
