Ravelry

Initially (and primarily) designed for knitters to exchange patterns, advice on knitting these, trade stash and share pictures of projects etc. there are also many weaving and spinning related fibre related discussion groups including the UK Spinners, Lovers of Ashford UK, UK Weavers, UK Fibre and Yarn events. You need to register to read or post to forums but this is free of charge. Many Ravelry members use a pseudonym (for example Wrigglefingers) called their 'Rav Name'.
