REMINDER - SPINNING IN SOUTHAM June 2019

Just a reminder that some of our spinners have been spinning at Tithe Place in Southam in June Thursday 13th June The venue is part of Tithe Place, on the High Street and there is a very convenient café on the premises. It is a modern library, light, bright with comfortable seating As there is room for only 10 spinners to be comfortable here please contact Chris if you intend to come along. She can advise you about parking (free of charge but a short walk). There is no fee for this activity but we will have collection tins for Air Ambulance if you feel generous. Southam Library is part of Warwickshire Libraries Service so borrowing or returning books can be combined with this activity.

Our morning will be spent with Liz Davies informing us all about Alpaca Fleece, so don't forget to bring your own Alpaca samples to check out. Also remember to bring along your soft furnishing challenge item and coins for voting. Finally, and very important - lunch is a shared meal so bring along a plate to share with your fellow members. She has kept a small herd of breeding alpaca since 2013 and last year a fleece from one of her herd (Snapdragon Samurai) won three prizes at the Three Counties Show including Best British Fleece and Reserve Champion (Huacaya fleeces).  Liz will have examples of different qualities for us to learn from and invites you to bring along you...
