Stratford-upon-Avon Guild of Weavers Spinners and Dyers

Just a reminder that some of our spinners have been spinning at Tithe Place in Southam in May Thursday 9th May Future dates are: Thursday 13th June The venue is part of Tithe Place, on the High Street and there is a very convenient café on the premises. It is a modern library, light, bright with comfortable seating As there is room for only 10 spinners to be comfortable here please contact Chris if you intend to come along. She can advise you about parking (free of charge but a short walk). There is no fee for this activity but we will have collection tins for Air Ambulance if you feel generous. Southam Library is part of Warwickshire Libraries Service so borrowing or returning books can be combined with this activity.

Some fabulous examples of the flowers the members are making for our Yarn Bombing in Shipston. We need loads more please to complete our display, so get knitting, crocheting, looming!!!! Let us know at the guild email addres wsdstratford@gmail.com and we'll organise to take them from you at our meetings or collect over the next few weeks.

Just a quick reminder for our next meeting on this coming Saturday. This meeting is being held at Chris's house and includes a session on Stash ID - so anything that you can't identify from your stash you will get some useful hints on identifying.  Also a chance to engage with a wide range of looms from Chris's collection.
