JULY MEETING - 18TH JULY 2020
DYEING IN JULY - is going online!
Following our usual summer pattern, July is our month for dyeing experiments and we hope you
have been saving flower heads, finding jars to leave in the sun ( though we are told that given time solar jars will “work” even in cold, dull weather).
Some people have been experimenting with Ice dyeing and will share their results. Abby Wrycroft and Chris Pegler have put together some information and will lead this section of the meeting, so we have sent members a list of equipment needed and instructions for what to do – plus some photos of the stunning results.
We do hope you will all join us and give it a try.
We shall send the ZOOM invite for the meeting in the next few days, but plan to hold it during
the morning only, 'doors' opening at 10 am for a 10.30 am start as usual.
Plans for the rest of the year.
Following a review with the membership, the Committee met on Tuesday and decided that it would be best to cancel all face to face activity for the remainder of the year and the monthly meetings will be held online on the usual monthly date. The Committee is now working hard to review the topics we are able to bring to you in the online format.
See you all on Saturday!
