After the AGM we shall break for lunch and then at 2.00 pm there will be a GBA on …...

STASHBUSTING

As January is the time for New Year resolutions perhaps you have made one based on
stashbusting? You may be in dire need of help, as with sales and present-giving you could have
recently acquired more fluff than you can use or store. Come along to this Getting Better At
session for tips, ideas and advice on how to get your stash under control.

Chris Pegler (who freely admits to being in a STABLE* state) will be talking about how to use
up spinning fibre and yarn - whether blending/combining to make larger quantities for a big
project - or finding mini/micro projects for leftovers. She will share ideas for weaving, spinning
and knitting projects and also show some examples of how dyeing/overdyeing can take the
unpromising and make it desirable again.

Liz Davies will be joining Chris to talk about some tricks gleaned from online stashbusting courses. Liz has a disciplined approach to stash building so is a perfect contrast to Chris!  They would be pleased to hear of new tips or see examples of projects using bits and pieces, so please bring your own work/ideas along to talk about.

So this is an experience-based session!
